Blue Moon IT is based in The Netherlands and specializes in CMS/CRM systems and specialty Internet software. The company originally purchased SourceGuardian to protect a product it had just developed called World Enquirer, which is a telemarketing package aimed at small companies.
World Enquirer is a completely web-based product which requires nothing more than a browser to run. This broad usage required security that would allow Blue Moon to license the product for use only on specific servers. The company researched other encryption software, but chose SourceGuardian because of its ease of use, numerous options, customer service, and reasonable price.
Using SourceGuardian has allowed Blue Moon to make its software user-friendly. World Enquirer and other software are ready to be quickly installed by customers without Blue Moon putting its valuable source code at risk.
Today, Blue Moon uses SourceGuardian to protect all of its software investments. It prevents exposure of code to outsiders, and it allows the company to bind its software to IP addresses and domains, preventing customers from using the products on several computers or servers.
